OccuniX is a sterile eye solution designed to provide intensive hydration, protection, and support for regeneration of the ocular surface. Its carefully selected ingredients help to stabilise the tear film, reduce irritation, and support the eye’s natural healing process. It is formulated to replicate the natural tear film and support the healthy functioning of the ocular surface.
Hyaluronic acid (0.3 %) – a naturally occurring component of the human eye with a high capacity to bind water. It provides long-lasting hydration and lubrication, enhances tear film stability, reduces evaporation and promotes regeneration of the corneal and conjunctival epithelium. It helps to relieve redness, burning, and dryness caused by external factors such as allergens, air-conditioning, and wearing contact lenses.
Panthenol (0.5 %) – – a provitamin of B5 with moisturising and regenerative properties. It supports the rapid healing of minor injuries and protects ocular cells from oxidative stress. In combination with hyaluronic acid, it enhances comfort and reduces irritation.
Electrolytes – physiological electrolytes (Na⁺, K⁺, Ca²⁺, Mg²⁺) are essential for maintaining the balance of the ocular surface and the homeostasis of the tear film. They help to reduce tear film hyperosmolarity – a key pathogenic mechanism in dry eye syndrome (a condition where the tear film contains too much salt and too little water).
